...

I'm not quite sure if I understand what I'm supposed to be writing about.

I guess the differences of opinion is the biggest problem with all of my sources. Sometimes they are soo different its hard to connect them to my paper in a coherent way that makes it all flow together. I also find the way they compare things together in their papers confusing. A few use table graphs but they abbreviate things in a way where it takes far to long to understand what the word is saposta to be. Especially when they are abbreviating names! That is the worst! I wish the essays were shorter too. Finding the spasific conclusions would be much easier to find, or at least I'd like to believe that.

Rannndddommmm

Here's my random post that I was instructed to type.

Don't you hate it when your sitting in class waiting for it to start and being forced to listen to someone else's music who sits on the other side of the room! It drives me nuts. Especially when they have a really bad taste in music.

Please everyone who reads this... Turn down your music in class so I don't rip out my hair in anger and annoyance!

Controlling Purpose

I guess for my essay my controlling purpose would have to be about if children get Stockholm syndrome more than adults. I spend a lot of time analyzing why its possible that children get it more than adults. I'm also wondering if I should talk about adults more in my paper or if that would be going beyond my controlling purpose. I'm starting to wonder if my controlling purpose is too specific for the amount of sources that I have out there. I'm finding difficult to get beyond five pages without starting to repeat myself.

Post Twooooo

The only reason I am invested in my topic is because it was the only one I could think of that could keep my attention for a whole semester of research. Plus I find situations that involve psychology interesting, how the changes in environment can affect their personality and cause personal disorders is kind of cool. I can’t say I have any more of a personal connection to the topic than interest.

Horray blog number 1

The subject I chose to write my paper on is Stockholm syndrome. It’s where you feel positively to your captors when you have been put either in a hostage situation or have been abducted. I’m not sure what I’m going to focus on entirely but its either going to be Stockholm syndrome in kids, is it a legit syndrome or something made up by the media or comparing parents to kids in if they get the syndrome or how involved they get. I’m not quite sure if the research topic is something of importance but it’s something I’m definitely interested in. I hope to learn a lot more about the psychology of the syndrome. I find that the most interesting.
